Martin, the online audit contains some excellent ideas and initiatives, it also highlights how far we have to go (particularly at the centre). It places emphasis on tackling 'easy issues' first e.g. recycling. I am well aware how many times this subject has been brought up in the past, I feel this demonstrates the forum's commitment and desire to improve. Implementing these initiatives would show commitment and leadership from top management, I believe that the centre(s) should be an example of how environmentally friendly practices can be seamlessly introduced into the culture of the working office. During the environmental assessments, sites with small numbers were making a real effort to recycle and generally reduce their (negative) environmental impact, perhaps we should follow their lead, and then take the lead?
